For some time now the general popular conception has been that the Audio Cassette is finished as far as being a music carrier is concerned. In truth whilst is has lost ground to digital formats such as CD, DVD, Mp3 etc, it is still the preferred format for spoken dialogue and is currently used in a variety of applications including, training, religious instruction, talking newspapers, children's stories and the like.

Demand is still strong and to date we are producing almost as many cassettes as in previous years and can forsee a future for the format for some time to come. There are distinct advantages that Audio Cassette has over the CD format, mainly when a cassette is stopped or paused it remains parked at the same point whenever the tape is played or when the machine is switched on, perfect for listening to dialogue without having to re-cue the recording.

For almost two decades now we have been manufacturing our own blank cassettes and using them in our duplication plant and can confirm the quality to be of the first order. Although the Cassette market has shrunk over recent years the result has been that there are fewer manufacturers still in business, subsequently we have seen an increase in demand for our cassette products to other duplicators.

We currently have the capacity to produce in excess of 10,000 C40 cassettes per day and are the proud owners of a pair of King 790 cassette loaders which can load blank or pre-recorded audio tape into blank or pre - printed Audio Cassette shells. To complement our tape manufacturing operation we also do on-body printing (that is printing titles etc. directly onto the cassette body, Side A and Side B). Our on body printing machine is a custom built CST printer which can print an average of 2000 cassettes per hour (both sides).

Our cassette duplication facility can be either real time or high speed . For music based duplication we tend to use real time duplication and BASF chrome tape. We have around 120 fully lined up Denon DRS 810 decks set up specifically for the type of tape we use. In addition, we have a substantial array of high speed duplicating equipment, namely an 11 to 1 Sony high speed duplicator and Telex stereo equipment. This affords us a high volume, low cost capacity that is very hard to beat.
